We ChiWalkin’, oh Baby!
January 16th, 2010 at 1:03 AM (On Ellens Mind)
I have never been terribly interested in trends, but this one caught my eye … the art of walking is no longer heel-toe, heel-toe. Check out http://www.chiwalking.com/shop/home.php
ChiWalking combines modern physics with the ancient wisdom of TaiChi to create a whole body fitness program for people of any fitness level.
I feel so foolish! I was bopping along, ignorantly doing the old heel-toe thing. Why, oh why, didn’t someone tell me? slip me an anonymous note? What if someone saw me walking out on the street? The humiliation of it all!
I know how to handle this. I’m gonna’ learn to chiWalk. You know, align my psych … engage my core … Elviswing my limbs … and squeeze my buttock muscles.
I’m getting it; hey, I’m chiWalking. I need something more … chiWalk music?
ChiWalkin’, oh Baby
Background dowap … “Do the Frankenstein flatback, the wiggly-Elvis legs, the knuckle-drag; … squeeze’em cheek muscles, oh baby, squeeze’em cheek muscles”
LyricsWe chiWalkin’, oh baby
We just chiWalkin’, knuckles to the ground. You chiWalkin’, oh baby
Better wear a disguiseHey, chiWalkin’ down the road, oh baby
People misunderstanding, cops may bust your …… I don’t know what should come next. You do it, engage your core and analyze your psych … you’ll figure it out.

Yeah….we have used TaiChi at work for years…for the old and not so old…it works…it’s fun…but I’m not real familiar with the wigglin’ & squeezin’ version…Keep me posted on the outcome.
